NFIB Thanks Governor Kemp for Signing Tax Relief Bills

April 15, 2025

The measures will help small business owners deal with rising costs, reinvest in their operations

NFIB State Director Hunter Loggins today thanked Gov. Brian Kemp for signing House Bills 111 and 112, two important measures that will provide meaningful tax relief to Georgia taxpayers and small business owners.

House Bill 111 accelerates the implementation of Georgia’s largest-ever state income tax cut, putting more money into the pockets of hardworking Georgians sooner. House Bill 112 authorizes a one-time $1 billion income tax refund for eligible taxpayers.

“Small business owners appreciate Governor Kemp’s leadership on tax relief,” Loggins said. “These bills will help entrepreneurs cope with rising costs, reinvest in their operations, and keep Georgia’s economy growing.”
