NFIB Launches Maryland Ad Campaign Warning Against Small Business Tax Hikes

NFIB Launches Maryland Ad Campaign Warning Against Small Business Tax Hikes

February 24, 2025

NFIB rolled out digital and radio ads

The National Federation of Independent Business (NFIB), Maryland’s leading small business advocacy organization, launched a digital and radio advertising campaign cautioning lawmakers to avoid tax increases on Main Street as they consider legislation this session.

“Small business owners across the state are concerned with the proposals coming out of Annapolis and simply cannot afford a tax increase,” said Mike O’Halloran, NFIB Maryland State Director. “The tax hike plans would interfere with small businesses plans to grow and create jobs – now is not the time to take away the hard-earned income of Maryland’s Main Street. We are urging the Maryland General Assembly to not make small businesses pay for the state’s structural deficit.”
