NFIB Statement on the Passing of Former U.S. Senator & Governor Kit Bond

Sen. Bond was a strong advocate for Missouri’s small businesses

NFIB Missouri State Director Brad Jones issued the following statement concerning the passing of former U.S. Senator and Missouri Governor Christopher “Kit” Bond:

“On behalf of Missouri’s small business owners, NFIB would like to offer our heartfelt condolences to the family of former Governor and Senator Kit Bond. Throughout his long and distinguished career, Senator Bond was an unwavering supporter of Missouri’s entrepreneurs. During his tenure in the Senate, he served for a time as Chairman of the Small Business Committee. Senator Bond was a true statesman who will be missed but never forgotten.”
