Iowa small business owners meet for Small Business Day to discuss tax reforms

NFIB Iowa recently held their annual Small Business Day at the Hilton Des Moines Downtown. The day began with a Leadership Committee meeting, where members received updates on reforming property taxes, making the 20% small business tax deduction permanent, repealing the harmful beneficial ownership mandate, and other legislative priorities.

NFIB Iowa later joined Iowans for Tax Relief for a Tax Luncheon event with special guest former chief economist at the Office of Management and Budget for President Trump, Vance Ginn. Vance spoke about Iowa’s need for property tax reform and how it will give much-needed relief to residents and small businesses.

Thank you to everyone who joined us on Small Business Day! We appreciate your commitment to supporting small business.
